READINGFor you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in their distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; the breath of the ruthless pounds against the wall like heat in the desert. You will bring down the action of the astray, like heat by the shade of a cloud, the song of the ruthless shall be brought down. And in this mountain, Yahweh of the hosts will make for all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of aged wines, of fat things full of marrow, of well aged wines well refined. And God will destroy in this mountain the shroud that shrouds all peoples, the veil that covers all nations. God has swallowed up death permanently! And the Lord Yahweh will wipe tears away off of all faces; and the dishonor of God’s people God will take away from off all the earth: for Yahweh has spoken it.
And it shall be said in that day, Here, this is our Elohim, we have waited and God saves us. This is Yahweh; we have waited, we will be glad and rejoice in God’s salvation. For in this mountain the hand of Yahweh will rest._From Isaiah 25
PSALM 13Until when Yahweh? Will you forget me forever?Until when? Will you keep your face hidden from me?Until when? Will my own soul be my guide, will sorrow hovers all day?
Until when? Will my enemy loom greatly over me?
Would you consider me and then answer me,O Yahweh, my God?Let my eyes see lightor I will fade. And then my enemies will boast victory, celebrating my stumbling feet.
But I have relied on your constant love.My uncovered heart rejoices in your salvation!I will sing to Yahweh,He has done everything he promised.
